Default CA Glue in a blind nut??

I just got my Carl Goldberg Tiger 2 ARF. I was putting it together and I accidentially got some CA glue in the blind nut that holds the wings on [sm=frown.gif]. Now the screw won't thread and I am having a tough time getting it out. Any suggestions??

CA debonder. it softens up the glue into jelly, then simply threat the nut through it. you can get it at any hardware store.

Do you have a tap? That is the easyist way. Second would be Debonder. If you don't have any, go get some. You will be happy you did for other things like gluing yourself to the counter. Third would be to make a tap out of another bolt. Cut slots in the bolt like a tap and put a point on the tip to help cut into the CA. All else fails, remove the blind nut and heat it with a torch to cook out the CA or just replace it. [8D]

he did say that he could not get the bolt in. without chewing up the rest of the threads the best way would be debonder. home depot has them, so does lowes

I looks like there has to be a chemical like acetone that removes CA glue. Acetone evaporates so fast you might have to mix it with something slower or put tap over it. Maybe acetone won't work, but there's some chemical that would do the same.

when he said he couldnt get the bolt through without destroying the threads, I am almost certian he was refering to the nylon bolt.

use a metal bolt with slits in it to create a "tap".
