Hello!!! Could someone tell me how to balance a prop??? Do I sand any off the tip, leading edge, trailing edge, or what??? Thanks....

If your talking about plastic props,trim the edges so they arn't sharp,from what i have heard some people remove material from the (front) leading edge but the proper place is the (back)trailing edge usually where it's the thickest.Others will give you more hints.

Dip the light end in a bright colored paint (@1/2") then sand the paint off the back side to balance. This will also give you a nice splash of color to show you where the whirling razor blades are so you keep all your fingers!

I don't run anything larger than a 12" prop, but what works for me is trim sheet. I use red/yellow or white, and cut small pieces, so they wrap around the leading edge of the prop and almost meed at the T.E. Works great, and I haven't had one come off yet.
