Default Thunder Tiger .46 pro troubles

Been fighting an engine problem for days. Would not go to max throttle while in the air, intermitantly. Today, after the 4th dead stick in as many flights, I found the problem. The Bolt and set that screws into the carb body had worked loose, causing the carb rotor assembly to slide in and out of the housing. Now that its tightened with locktite this time, it is back to its normal screaming self

Default RE: Thunder Tiger .46 pro troubles

I had the same problem. My carb was loose because the bolt had turned up a little bit so it wasnt holding the carb right. On final when i came down to idle it was vibrating and the throttle was going up and down from the vibration so i shut it off. Now I have the problem fixed, and all is good
