Default Sig Four Star 60

Hi All,
I think I am ready for my next plane, moving on from Hobbico NextStar. From reading all the news, I think Sig Four Star 60 is a great choice. The required engines for it is between .60 -. 71 two stroke. I have seen people on here taking about having .91 on it. What do you think about .91. I am a pretty quick learner, and scared the I will get bored quickly if I don't have the power to have fun with the plane.

Let me know what you think and if you are using .91 on the Sig Four Star 60

Thanks All
Qwazzy!!

When they say to use a .91 on a 4*60 aren't they referring to a 4 stroke instead of a 2 stroke?

the four stars are extremely light airplanes that will float forever. the recommended engine is plenty for it, i would suggest an OS fx. i have a four star 40 with an OS .46fx. wonderful airplane. rock solid will do most moves smoothly(knife edges are really nice). a friend from my club has the 4star 60 with a tt 60. the engine gave him a bit of trouble(plane glides nice even on a deadstick) but the plane still performs well with the combo when the engine decides to run. also, i don't know for sure about the 60 size, but the 40 size tends to have some aileron flutter at full speed with the 46, mine doesn't show it yet, but I have seen two with flutter problems. wasn'e real violent, but causes some concern.

I have a 4* 60 with a TT .91 four stroke. It's probably overpowered but I sure like the way it flies. The extra power is like having a 4 wheel drive truck...you don't need it all the time but when you do it's sure nice to have.

I have a 4*60 and am using an OS 91 surpass. I would have to believe that most of the 91 size engines you have read about are in the 4 stroke category. BTW this plane is a blast to fly. It is stable, goes where you point it and it handles the wind very well. I still have mine and fly it a lot.

My 4*60 has a mag .91 FS and I love it... like the man said "better to have it and not need it that to need it and not have it"!
You will love the 4* heck the only ones I take to the field anymore are the 4* and the Funtana
