Dunno what you folks are talking about. I live a normal life. Sure as I glance at my coffee table, there is the fuselage of a scratch built bird dog. And hey, I only have 400 into it. (could have bought and arf for 120)

I should go and work in my garage now. Oh but I cant coz all those expensive power tools are covered in balsa dust, and parts from my crashed Nextar.

I guess I could go chill in the lounge. All I have in there is an unopened Spitfire awaiting my attention.

Aviation is a disease, and the virus runs rampant through my vains. No one in my family was into aviation, but since i got my first cessna ride when i was 5, i have been bitten by the bug. I went through school to be an A&P tech (aircraft mechanic). There is not a SINGLE day in my life that i don't touch a real or model airplane. Hopefully, it will be like that the rest of my life. Aviation has done a hell of a lot for me, teaching responsibility, team work, and pride in workmanship. I will forever be an aviation addict. I think I may even request an airplane on my head stone.....

in the context of "real" I was referring to aircraft certified under the FAA, which a model plane is not.

I am adictided, and young, so it sucks, I have more planes then TX's and RX's, and no money to buy more, and I need some money to support paintball and flying full scale gliders. I also have more planes to build and fix, and no time to do it. Its a shame...
