balance lateral

Its easiest with 2 people but you could do it alone. At the back, put a mark on the bottom of the fuselage in the center. At the front, loop a string around the prop shaft. Lift by the string and at the rear mark.

The way I do it is to set the spinner on a 1 gallon paint can and then lift the tail with one finger from the under side of the fuse. I lift it just slightly to where the plane is level with the height from the nose sitting on the paint can.

I do the paint can method too. Get a can, or a box, or what ever will just fit under the spinner, and lift the tail. repeat this 3 or 4 times. If the plane goes to one side every time, add some weight to the opposite wingtip.
