I have several Super Tigers. If buying the ST buy the ST 45 as it will work on follow on airplanes and have much better reliability. I would however recommend the GMS .47 which runs right out of the box, is much cheaper of of superb quality. Go to the MECOA site or read the ad in the RC Magazines. If you trade in an old engine, (I bought a broken one for 5 bucks) and send it in they give you a 20 dollar reduction. I have purchased two motors on this ad and love each of them. So far no flame outs after many many flights. You will enjoy your experience.

MikeL, Thanks for the info. I e-mailed great planes and got the word directly from them, sad sad sad! I also fired off an e-mail showing my dissatisfaction with this. Perhaps more of us should do the same. The address is: [email protected]

Thanks again, Tom.
