Y'all? From a Californian?

Hey Paul, I just checked where Ft Dodge is. You're almost straight south of me. Should only be about a 5 hr trip. Depending on what I've got going on, I could maybe knock an hour off of that for you and meet you in Olivia or Hutchinson

I commend you all.
I started several years ago. I built a Eaglet 50 had all the equipment and a glider someone gave me. I had more time then money and no flying experience so I started building a super chipmonk (not a smart beginner choice but I loved how the plane looked). Anyways, my now ex wife broke my chipmonk fuse into many small pieces. I went through an ugly divorce and lost almost everything I owned and went into thousands of dollars into attorney debt. I fought for custody of my son and he now lives with me. I did manage to find my eaglet plans. I scratched built another one from my plans and memory. I don't have big chunks of money to put into anything. I buy a little wood here and there to give me something to do until I can get out the hole I'm in. I have recently learned to fly my eaglet with lots of help from friends,a buddy box and another friends simulator. I have got interest in the chipmonk again but need plans to build a new fuse. It's a 60 size CG plane. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Dave

Razor, I think we need more people like you in this world. You've inspired me to take an inventory also. I know I have a few smaller engines laying around somewhere, and I'm gonna start looking for them. If anyone out there really needs an engine, rangeing from.40- .61, let me know. I'm disabled, and just recently discovered the wonderful world of RC. I've had help recently, from one of the guys in our club. He sold me a 33%-330L-Patty, all decked out, put together, except for the engine, servos, switches, etc., for 800.00. He had 1200.00 in it. I'd like to incourage any newbys to look around and join a local club, nicest people in the world, and be sure and join the AMA, the benefits are awesome, and very necessary, in case of an accident. We recently lost our flying site at the local airport, because of some non-membersalmost crashing in to a real plane, coming in for a landing. Totally un-called for. We had a really nice flying site, for a buck a year, -99 yrs. All it takes is a little common courtesy, and respect. If you want to get in to RC, just ask, I know of noone that would say no to helping anyone. If anyone out there can help me finish my 33% 330L, I really need a lot of stuff, to complete it, and I'll get to digging in my extra stuff. Let me know what you need, if I have it, it's yours. Thanks and God bless. [email protected]

I'm in need of an engine to fit my Goldburg 10-300 ultimate, and I may have an extra .40 size engine. Let me know. Pete
