Can anyone recommend a cheap ready to fly electric airplane, suitable fo me and my 11 year old grandson to play with, i dont want anything big just something that we can have fun with.

Do you already know how to fly? If no don't be suprised if you first flights are measured in seconds and require repairs and parts.

R/C Planes aren't like R/C cars or boats... They aren't as forgiving. You might want to visit a local club and get assistance if possible

For getting started, electrics allow you to fly in
parks and perhaps even your yard. They are quiet and clean.

I leave one of mine in my car at the train station. When I get home, I head for the field, in my suit, pull out the plane, put in the battery, do a range check, fire up the motor and up
I go.

10-15 minutes later I land, switch batteries and up again! Depending on the
light, I might be there an hour and get in 3-4 flights, still in a suit. Then
put it away and home for dinner.
