I'm in the search for a program to design my own plane scheme that I can apply to G2 to check visibility aspects of my new 4* kit build. Yes- I stumbled across that website "Color me gone".
I thought-"how cool".. let me try out covering ideas on G2 before I ever lay down a piece of MonoKote..one problem..graphic design programs are expensive and the learning curve is extensive..any thoughts??

I built my 4*60 from a kit also and designed the scheme also like this.
Here is my 4*60 in real life I have been flying for 2 years.

Below is the Funtana S 90 Scheme I made for G2. My real Funtana S 90 looks like this. Ofcourse this is not my scheme design.

If all you want to do is re-paint an existing aircraft, try JASC Paint Shop Pro. It is a great graphics program for all types of tasks and sells for about $75-80. It also works great for digital photos too.

If you cant afford Photoshop, you might give GIMP ago. Goggle for it. Its a free graphics program, orginally designed for Linux i think. Its got alot of features and I think you can do alot with it once you get the hang of the basics. Think Photoshop or similar expensive graphics package are total overkill for something simple as making a new airplane texture
