Default Beginner Airplane

Hello,would the Midwest Aerobat be a good choice for a first airplane.I have simulator time and would like to have a plane that i could grow with,also would the Irvine 53 be a good choice for power.Thank's.

Check with an instructor (You ARE going to have an instructor, right?)

As an instructor, the Aerobat would be one of my first choices, providing I thought the student could handle starting with an advanced trainer.

If you do well with a Sim, you brobably could, but don't even think about trying it without someone's help
