My roomate got an alpha trainer and the thing flys great, but one of the stripes on the wing started coming up, the stripe balloned up and caused a violent spin that was just barely recovered from by an experienced pilot that is helping train us. Has anyone else experienced this problem.
The other stripes are coming up too. Which could cause more problems....please make sure that your decals are down good!
My roomate is just now calming down from his near loss!!!

I too had an Alpha and the same problem. I often checked the covering, but is a super flyer. I also had a 60 Thunder Tiger. I wanted more speed, so I put a tune pipe on it with the Super Tigre 60(Crazy)
.Big mistake. Trainer are not speed planes. About the 3rd flight at the MPH I was flying, the covering on 2/3 of the top of one wing came off.[X(] I had very little control, and all I could do is call for HELP! The person that trained me was there and grabed the radio. He got her down, but was hard and fast (some damage).
He looked at me and said "I told you so Crazy."[:@] The Tunder Tiger flys today to say the least with out a tune pipe. You live and learn. Glad to hear you got yours down safely.

After several spot repairs on my Alpha's covering, it's going to get some TLC this winter. The covering is loose in several places on the fuselage, but not on the wing. I'll make sure to double check that now!
