Iam a retread to model building (control line in the 50s) my question is can you keep CA in the refrig. to extend its shelf life?

Yes, and you should keep it in the fridge. Just make sure you take it out two to three hours prior to use so it's at room temperature.

I know that where I work ,we keep it in the fridge.
And I keep it in the fridge at home also.
Container saids store in a cool place,I beleive
it will keep longer.

If you do keep it in the fridge, be absolutely sure the cap is on TIGHT. Moisture is what makes this stuff work so well, and it will absorb the moisture from that environment if not tightly sealed.

I never put my CA glue in the fridge...holds up for years in my garage at + 10 to 15 degrees celsius!
But a good thing for long time storage (months) is to throw away the cap when you have opened the bottle! That way the tip doesn't get clogged so easily.
I use "Flash" CA glue and accelerator for most of my building.
