I want to use a radio that i had on a park flyer for another plane, it's got the R114 receiver which is single conversion on channel 24 my question is I think the crystal in the radio will work can i pull the 24 crystal out of the R114 and put it in the R127 receiver even tho the R127 is a duel conversion .will it work.or do i need to buy a duel conversion crystal on channel 24 and use that ..thanks i hope i explaned this well enough,if not let me know what other info you would need to answer this ...thanks ..mike

No. You need a dual conversion crystal for the R127. Is you R114 receiver AM or FM? If it is AM, the R127 won't work with that radio. That transmitter may not be compatible with the R127 even if it is FM. Check with Futaba.

It's a futaba 4YF FM ...

You'll need to buy a new, dual conversion crystal on 24 for the R127 receiver.

these work with GWS, Futaba and Hitec radios. Plus, I think they are only 7.95....
From what others have told me, they are better and more reliable than the standard dual xtal from
hitec or futaba.
