Default Lucky Charm?

A friend stopped by to watch some flying the other day and since I always refer to my planes as pretty bird, pretty lady etc. I asked him jokingly if he had an anklette for the bare leg (landing gear) on the plane he was looking at. (He's a silversmith) He laughed and turned up the next day with a silver anklettes for a buddy's and my planes. He said they were good luck charms and were decorated with Native American symbols for wind, bird and lightning! Nice huh? I thought "now's here a novel idea" and suggested that he might sell these to RC pilots on the net and make a few extra bucks. Being from a mining town gone bust years ago.....times are tough for a lot of people in this area. So what do you folks think of this idea? Do you think a band of .950 silver (more silver content than sterling) that's 3/8" wide and 2" long and is decorated as described would be a novel purchase for $10 as a "lucky charm"? I'm just trying to "feel the market out" for this guy and not steer him down a path that would end up nowhere. Thank you for your opinion!

The weight would be negligible, wouldn't it? Just guessing but I think the weight would be two-penny weight. Point taken though. Thanks

You need a pic of the thing and it mounted and the flying results with it attached to the plane first,,it sounds really cool,,but your gonna need pics to even begin trying to sell something like that,,if it would help out an area economy, thats great but ,well, a picture IS worth a 1000 words..if it looks cool but screws up the rx signal,,thats not gonna be a selling point,, maybe a good omen for the flight box,,we all throw away $10 on stuff we dont need,,but you need a "gimmick" to make it work..I fly 1/2a with no landing gear so it wouldnt work on my planes, but I'd be interested to see one/heck maybe its my flight box thats jinxed!......Rog
