2 Rubber Bands are Plenty

If you want an interesting flight, try only two rubber bands. I was putting the wing on my Aircore and installed the wing with only two, then decided to make sure the ailerons worked before adding any more. The ailerons worked so I finished the pre-flight, fueled it up and took off. The wing lifted and changed the incidence, making the plane climb like crazy. I realized immediately what was wrong and very slowly and carefully throttled back and brought it around for a landing. Those are sure a good brand of rubber bands.

I watched a guy take off with a dozen or so rubberbands, had way to many high g pull outs (full power straigh down.. bend the stick back type pull outs) had audible clues many rubberbands were breaking, then landed with about 3 or 4 bands still on!!!!
