Oh Joy, Oh Rapture....

I'd agree with that statement. I think the Vikes are a better team without Moss. Unfortunately for the Pack, you can have all the chemistry in the world, but if you don't have the players, you're toast. I don't think they have the players.
Don't get me wrong, I only root against the Pack twice a year. I don't think this is their year.

I really don't know what to expect this year from the Pack. I expect more on D with there new Def cordinator but they have not made any moves as far as replacing the jokes they had on D last year.
But Brett is back, anything can happen with him under center.
You MN guys might hate me for this but when I found out the C was back I wrote him asking him not to retire, told him I did not want my last memory of him to be the last Viking game he played in.
I also thanked him for all the years of excitment he brought us Packer fans. Talked about other things also.
Don't know if he ever got it, never got a reply. At least not yet.
The day he retires is the day it will suck to be a Packer fan again. I may have to refuse treatment when that happens LOL.

Who is "The C"? Sorry, just not a Packer fan. Don't dislike them, just not a fan.

Skynyrd,
How's the plane coming. My Rapture is in about the same state as your last pictures. I'm doing my final sanding and trying to figure out a color scheme. Looking for something simple since it will be my first.
I notice that your Alpha had a Evolution engine in it. What size is it and how did it run for you? That also is the engine I'm going to run in my Rapture. Will you be using it for your Rapture?
I hope your cancer treatment is going well.
Mike

Hey Mike,
Glad to see somebody else has one of these, I was beginning to wonder if I had one of a kind.
I will give you an answer on your questions in the morrow. A much better one than I could give you now.
Had to bury my best friend today and just got home, did it up in his name tonight the way he would have liked it.
Not only did I lose a dear friend, also all of this country lost a brilliant man, do a google on this guy and you will see what I mean. His name is Mark Beilke. (Not the doctor) He was the #1 actuary in the world and I am not the one claiming that. His co-workers told me that today.
He was the one who was going to financially back the fund raising benefit my brother is trying to get going for me to help with medical expenses.
He will be missed dearly by me but I know he is keeping a bar stool open for me somewhere.!

Hey Mike,
Cancer treatment is going well, I guess I'm in pretty good condition for the condition I am in.
Thanks for asking.
Anyway, my Rapture is still waiting for me to cover it. Been just to busy to get to it lately.
I will be using a .46 Evolution engine in it. I love these engines as they seem to be the only ones I can keep running properly.
I have a Tower hobby .46 I was going to put in it but I don't know what I am doing when it comes to break in and tuning. Thought I had it but now it dies when I point the plane up at full throttle.
I am going to try one more time getting it right, if I can't get it I was thinking of seeing if I can find somebody to help me with it.

Dies when pointed up means too lean. When at full power , you should be able to pinch the fuel line going into the carb and hear the engine accelerate slightly before dieing. That indicates tuned just slightly rich of peak lean- a good spot to fly. If, when you pinch the line, it dies without accelerating then it is too lean. Adjust it a click or 2 toward richer and test again.

Thanks for the condolances. It may sound strange but I feel a little better about the inevitable because of this.
Glad to hear the Ultimate is nearing completion. But I'da thought you would have jumped all over that mustange when you got it!
