You're right. You can't have too many LTs.
But have you ever flown an LT-25? A little smaller and a lot lighter, even more fun. My son and myself each had one. I lost mine in a fire we had at home. With all the other planes we have, I find myself wanting to replace it.

By the way, my son and myself both learned on an LT-40. We sold it to a friend to teach his kid on. His son is now flying something faster and Dad wants to keep the LT-40 for himself!

One of my buddies built an LT 25 for his daughter to learn on
He stuck an LA 46 on it and its a blast to fly.

Default Latest Update~!!

Well, after meeting a number of nice experienced folks(trainers), joining the local flight club and a little help from G2 Real Flight....

I had my first solo yesterday and everything went extremely smooth. It was an awsome sense of satisfaction to land my plane as smooth as a babies bottom side.

"Winter is coming" quoted in George RR Martin Book series

So, I was thinking of purchasing a kit to build to learn how to build a plane over the winter, my LT40 was an ARF. I am considering purchasing a Four Star 60 or a Venture 60

What a great hobby!

Archimides,

I have a Four Star 60, and have flown the Venture 60. Both are probably as good of a choice for a second plane as you will find.

Congratulations on the solo.

Default easy to build model

Hey Archimedes, in reply to easy to build, I have been told the LT-40 is easy to build, however, I have seen two or more reports that the easiest model to build is the Balsa USA model, the Stick 40 and their Plus model (with ailerons). Just thought I would pass that on.

I bought one of the Plus model kits from our local dealer. It is very old , very yellowed, but seems complete. I am going to build it next, start in a few days, and I can let you know how easy it is.

My reasons for buying it are I have gathered a bunch of different covering types, and have collected several different glues. I want to try all these items out, so I guess you would call this a test mule.

Anyone interested in knowing how it goes, shoot me a line, and I will return an E-message later on.

Best regards, Brent
