Default CA/epoxy?

Sorry if there is a thread I missed already answering this question. I am not exactly a newbe to the R/C thing but I do have a newbe question. I have built at least three ARF's and working a a forth. All manuals in the others said to epoxy the stab and virtical fin in place(which to me works very well) The one I'm building now(Great Planes Combat Corsair) says to CA the stab and fin in place. Since I'm not a fan of CA, will it hurt to epoxy them instead. The joint will be balsa to balsa.. Thanks for any help...

Won't hurt a bit if you want to epoxy it. Just don't go heavy handed with the epoxy because it does weigh more than CA does. Never hurts to have stronger glue joints.

Hope this helps.

I have a love hate relationship with CA, I love it because it will glue quick, I hate it because it will glue my fingers quick

Yeah I know they are a handfull...... I have a 3 channel Wattage Corsair park flyer that I added ailerons to. I figure I will try to make most of my mistakes with that one, but thanks for the advise Bruce. I never turn down advise from someone with more experience. Happy flying!!!!
