i think im going with the CAF to save a few buck so i can get my motor. the 7CAF seems to have almost all the features of the 9CAF, but its a good bit less sooo...... now that i have a assembled plane(wich is sitting in my living room......mom now hates it), im going to compromise for the 7 channel so i can get a motor to start flying with

Mothers don't understand. Wait until you try it with a wife some day. Mothers are there for life. Wives, well that's another story you are too young for.

Enjoy the good years, it gets tougher and better at the same time.

Sounds like you have a workable plan. Get to work on it.

For planes the 7c is all the radio most of us will ever need. It has all of the programmable functions that you will want and still be a bit cheaper to purchase. If you are interested in helis in the future, the 9c might be the way to go. I fly a heli with a 7c and it works fine, but I recently purchased a 9c for all of the additional programming functions it offers. I would definitely recommend spending the extra bucks for the 9c if helis are in your near future, but for planes the 7c is all you need.

You made the right choice on both the engine and the radio. Get a good instructor to go over the whole plane with you and set everything up for the final and then have a ball. You will enjoy it.

Glad you got what you needed. I hope you have a great time with it.

I will be passing by you on my way to Houston this weekend. I'll wave as I pass by.

When I was in college, I wanted a new glider (was flying on the circut). I told her I would paint it purple if she would buy it. She liked purple. Needless to say, I had a new sponcer and the purple beast was a winner.
