JUST THOUGHT I WOULD LET YOU KNOW I WENT BY MY LHS TODAY. TRIED TO GET HIM TO SELL ME THE EXTRA BATTERY FOR $10.00. I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD OFFER. I REALLY WANTED TO BUY FORM HIS SHOP. HE SAID HE DIDN'T MAKE ENOUGH OFF THE SALE TO DO IT. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT - MY THINKING IS HE WOULD MAKE AT LEAST $40.00 TO $60.00 ON THE SALE. I WOULD PAY FULL PRICE FOR HIS PLANE AND $10.00 FOR A $20.00 BATTERY. THAT IS BETTER THAN $0.00. THE ONLY COST OUT OF HIS POCKET WOULD HAVE BEEN HIS COST OVER $10.00 FOR THE BATTERY, IF ANY.
I HAVE CHECKED ON REDROCKET AND HAVE FOUND THEY HAVE A GOOD RATING. THROUGH AMAZON.COM THEY ARE EVEN UNDER A GUARANTEE. I SHOULD HAVE ENOUGH MONEY BY THIS WEEKEND TO BUY MY PLANE. JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW I TRIED TO WORK WITH MY LHS. I WILL STILL BUY PARTS FROM MY LHS, AND MOST LIKELY MY 2ND PLANE. NOT UPSET WITH LHS JUST TRYING TO CONDUCT BUSINESS.

If he is matching mail order he may be telling you the truth. The mark up is not near what you think it is. You have to love the hobby to stay in business. Dennis

I NOTICED THE TYPO. DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING. UNDERSTAND THE ENGLISH, MY MOM AND AUNT ARE ENGLISH TEACHERS. MY AUNT ONE DAY CHANGED THE BOARD AT A LOCAL EATING PLACE ONE TIME BECAUSE IT HAD USED IMPROPER ENGLISH. TO TOP THAT WHEN SHE WENT IN SIDE SHE TOLD THE MANAGER SHE DID IT... COULDN'T FIND A ROCK TO HIDE UNDER. I NEVER HAVE BEEN GREAT AT SPELLING. HOPE TO BUY MY PLANE WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK.

Haven't talked to you in a while. Just thought I would let you know. I've done a lot of thinking and and talking in the forums. Been looking at getting into this hobby for several months now. After all of this I am not buying a Slo-V. I am going to get a Slow Stick with a 6ch radio. My LHS price is the same as the shops on the Internet. Only thing extra will be sales tax. So, I am buying from my LHS. I am spending about $120.00 more than the Slo-V set up, but I have a good radio. LHS does not have parts in stock for the Slow Stick[&o], but he can get them. Maybe I can talk him into stocking the Slow Stick. Thank You for all the advise. Sometimes people do listen. Hope I am making the right decision, a lot of money I'm spending. Also the wife doesn't know how much[sm=biggrin.gif]

This is just the beginning not the end. I fly 40% planes, had to wait for the kids to move out before i could get the bigger ones. Had a friend crash one of my 33% last Sat. Almost ready to put GP Cap 580 in my trailer this week-end. Since I now have a 80cc engine with no home thinking about TF 86in Corsair. Thats how it goes, it beats drinking. Have fun. Dennis

I went to your web site. You have a nice place. Be lots of fun to watch the big ones fly. I am new and don't really understand all you said 40%, 33%. Sorry to hear of the crash. I have been watching some videos on the crash forum. Say a big 8 engine plane crash. Must have been worth over $7,000.00. I'm sure he went home and cried. I know I would. Been nice talking to you. Maybe I will let you know sometime in the future how I fly --- crash---ect.

When you hear % that is the size of the plane against the full size. There fore 33 % of the full size. If you were on my web site, the red plane is the one the crashed. If i can ever be of help please call. Dennis
