I have an aluminum 2 1/4 spinner for my Saito 82, I am using a 14 x 4 APC but I cant get it to fit due to the low pitch. Do all manufacturers cut the slots equally? or do Ineed to modify this spinner as I would a plastic one?
A 2 1/2 spinner doesnt look quite right either.
any suggestions appreciated.

HercDoc,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no standardization with spinners. It's a shame that we can't get propeller makers to communicate with spinner makers and have a spinner that actually fits our propellers. You are going to have to trim your spinner to fit the propeller. Just make sure that you take the same amount off each side of the spinner so that it stays balanced.
Sorry I couldn't give you better news
Ken
