This last saturday i took my Superstar 40 out to the club. I have spent countless hours on a simulator and got my confidence built up. Me and my instructor hooked up my buddy box, fueled up the plane, and tookoff. I started by taking a few turns then he landed it and we fueld it up. This time he let me have the controls. I centered the plane on the runway and advanced the trottle and up she went! Its was the best feeling to see somthing I built fly. I did a few laps around the club and decided to try some aerobatics. It preforms perfect loops and rolls. I surprised my instuctor. He told me i was the most advanced student he has ever tought. It came time to land and i got a little nervous. Just as i was on my final the engine cut off. This was my first landing and i hat to do it dead stick! I was nervous but as the plane got close to the ground i flared and landed it perfect! I impresed everyone at the club they were amazed that i landed my plane dead stick. I flew 3 more times that day and had 1 more dead stick before it was all over with. While i was cleaning my plane after a great day at the feild i realized at my fuel tank had a leak [:@] . I got home and took out the fuel tank and I am going out today to buy a new one. I am planing on going back out to the feild tomorrow and flying some more. This is a awesome plane and i HIGHLY recomend it to anyone looking to come into this hobby.
