Default question about an electric motor i found

I get no responses when i post in the electric forum so i came here........

I found in my box of junk a little rc motor called an epic 27 it looks like it has two magnets and im pretty shure its brushed. does anyone have the specs for this engine(im looking but i cant find the two batt version). does anyone know if it would be sutiable.....possible witha gear box..... to use it on a Electric aircraft? i would realy like to think the little bugger would run my seniorita conversion, but i dont know.

Thank you for any and all info you can give with this.

Thanks and Gig'em

**edit** this actualy might be a little brushless motor. i think i found one like it on ebay. i wrote the seller and im hoping he tells me what i need to know as far as specs

could it possibly be a slot car motor. Flat sides and timing lead me to that. oups you said it was from an off road didn't you? silly me.

Is this what you have? [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGSZ1&P=7]EPIC stock motor[/link] Typical stock brushed buggy motor for 6 cells. You could probably use it with an 7-8 cell sub-C nicad/nimh pack and a "speed 600' gearbox around 2.5:1 with something like a 10x6 prop. It should be limited to around 20 amps, and could probably fly something like a .15 or lightly loaded .25 size plane. I'm assuming you wanted to use it for a plane?
