Maybe a dumb question, but can a beginner handle flying the Flying Lanmaower from Flying Thingz if there is an experienced RC flying instructor there to help? Or is it just not possible?
Thanks...

Short anwser would be NO!. They are an advanced intermeidate model. You would require expericnce on areobatic aircraft first.

To elaborate just a bit, I was talking yesterday to a friend that has a flying mower. He was commenting that his fuel tank is too small, causing him the occasional dead stick. He says the mower has the glide ratio of a brick! The only way to bring it in is to immediately put it into about a 45 degree dive to maintain airspeed and then pull out at the last second to land.
Not a particularly beginner-friendly "plane."

I saw both the Doghouse (Not sure it's that brand) AND the lawnmower (Flying deer ROFL
) At our Airshow.. After talking to the pilots Neither was easy to fly but both agreed the doghouse was the easier of the two..
Boy di they both look funny being chased by a GP Dr. 1

They are coming out with a flying doghouse which looks like a blast.
That's for those of us that are married and tend to get into trouble with the wife on occasion

Hey, this might just be the ticket for me. I have lots of experience of spending time [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_2357168/anchors_2357168/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#2357168]in the doghouse[/link]

If the criteria to buy one of those "Dog House" planes is that you have to have made your wife mad and spent time in the dog house, then every married man on RCU should have one!
That's like saying "Do all planes land?" Yes they do, one of two ways, under control, outta control
