First solo flights
#1
Hey guys,I had my first solo flights today.I got interested in this great hobby about 10 months ago but couldn't persue it like I wanted to because of financial difficulties.I was able to get a couple of buddy box flights in,after that I said I've got to find a way to do this it's to much fun.I was able to get a flight sim last Christmas and used it on a regular basis for months. Then through a friend of a friend had an old trainer tossed in the corner of his garage said I could have it for 5 bucks it was just an airframe, slowly but surely getting it together got it finished recently and soloed today. Thanks to the great people in this hobby who helped me out.Sorry about rambling on but I'm still pumped after today.

Tarkus1,
Sorry that you had a rough time getting into the hobby, but glad that you did make it. You don't have to apologize for being "pumped", we have all been there and we definitely understand. Heck, I bet you still have that silly little smile on your face don't you?
Don't worry about it, I had the same smile for 3 months after I soloed.
A solo flight is a great accomplishment and that wins you one genuine RCU ATTABOY (Suitable for framing, wrapping fish, or lining trashcans).
