After 30 minutes on hold the guy told me that the plane came with FS One Solo and it is not sold separately. So guess I either buy the $99 one or try another too see if it will work. Will first download the freebie that objose suggested and see how that works. Thanks again for the help. TS

Hey guys, I just took the leap into the hobby with the mustang PTS from hanger 9.

Is nobody going to tell this guy that his p51 is NOT an acceptable airplane to "leap" into this hobby with, even after a number of hours on the simulator.
Personally I get tired of beating my head against the wall.

It's a little late now, he prolly has it put together and messed with it already. If you haven't, then you should know that the p-51 is not a great beginner plane like they advertise. You should definitely try to go to a flying club and get them to train you using a trainer cord hookup. You're plane will last longer if you do. You can find a club here. http://www.modelaircraft.org/clubsearch.aspx

Eh, NO because they purchased the H9 PTS - TRAINER - which when configured as directed is an EXCELLENT trainer.

I learned and certified on one of these after 2-3 trips to the field. Now I'm the instructor... teaching people to fly with it...

If a student gets told that they cannot start out with this plane, then they need to seek another instructor.
