I AM STARTING TO BUILD A CAP SPORT 232 MADE BY KANGKE, AND I NEED TO GET A MUFFLER FOR THE 0S 91 TWO STROKE. I WAS CURIOS ON WHAT ONE TO GET. I AM LOOKING AT THE PITTS MUFFLER BUT THERE ARE TWO TO CHOOSE FROM. I AM NOT SURE WHAT ONE TO GET. THE 2 CHOICES ARE FOR SIDE MOUNT MOTOR OR COMPLETE INVERTED. I AM NOT SURE WHAT WAY THE MOTOR GOES. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPREICATED
THANK YOU

The choice of mount is yours, side mount is always easier when it comes to starting, inverted is PRONE (only prone but not always) to giving problems, flooding etc. Inverted engines give the plane a cleaner look but getting to the plug is always a pain. The CAP has a big cowling so a side mounted engine will not look bad on it.

cbr, Call the guys @ Kangke, they are great guys to deal with, they have the pitts style mufflers and are more than willing to assist you. I had some experience with them on an engine I bought from them. Out of inexperience & lack of knowledge I bought way too much motor for the Cap I was doing. They had me send back the SK 80 I bought, and sent me back their TS 56 with the pitts muffler to go with it for no extra charge, didn't even charge me the second round of shipping. Then I asked about a remote needle valve for the TS 56, I was just inquiring on the price. Next thing I know I got a remote needle valve sitting in my mail box, again free of charge. Those guys were great to me! Give em a call, I'll bet they'll get ya squared away.
