Greetings all,

I am Edward I am from Webster, Ma. and am looking to get into R/C Electric Airplane. Was hoping to find people near me to visit and learn from.
I do not own any equipment as of yet but am strongly concidering the following.
Radio: Futaba 7CA or 9CA (If I can find it cheap enough)
Planes: Mountain Models Magpie, will take time to build so might also get a GWS Slow Stick 300 or 400.
Not quite sure what all else I need to get going after those items.

battery charger and batteries,esc,used to live in acton mass and fly with the c.r.r.c out of the stow drop zone years ago,trying to remember where webster is,seems like out around the worcester area.used to be a hobby shop in or around auburn that could be of help think is was called the hobby hut.

It is 20 min from Worcester, And the Place your thinking of I believe is in Auburn called Hobbytime stopped in yesterday their selection in store is slim but can order stuff they deal mostly with One model supplyer I forget, and mostly JR radios they do not carry the Futabas any more mentioned something about Futaba going to the dark side LOL.

They gave me a Contact for Central Mass R/C Modlers but he is no longer at the phone number I got. I also tried to contack a person in my town that was listed under Yankee Flyers Club but no return call as of yet.

go to the ama site and they have a club locater link by state good luck.alot of the hobby shops i went to in mass are now gone,there was fisher r/c in framingham but he passed away in 89 or 90 and there was tom's hobby corner in chelmsford but he is gone now.most of the better shops were out of the guys house or basement.
