Default What batteries should I get

Hello there everyone this is my first post. I just got into this great hobby. Since its my first time flying a real rc aircraft i decided to get a 3 channel aircraft. I just bought a flyzone sky pilot. It brings a Ni-MH 1100mAh 8.4v battery pack. I would like to know if it is possible to get a lipo pack. If it is which should i get ex. voltage, cells....etc. Thanks in advance.

Stick with NiMH... to run Lipo at the very least you'll need a new speed control, charger and of course batteries... figure at least another $200, not worth it IMHO at this point... pick up one maybe 2 more NiMH packs and just FLY if your dead set on going Lipo spend some time in the Electric and battery forums... lots of GREAT info to be had.
