Default master caddy

Hey! I am wondering if anyone knows the dimensions for the battery compartment of the master caddy. I want to know if my motocycle battery will fit before I make the purchase. Thanks if anyone can help me out.

I didnt measure mine, but there is a ton of room in the battery compartment of a Master Caddy. A Motorcycle battery should fit easily!

Front to back approx 13.7cm (bottom)
bottom to top is approx 15.3cm
width is around 19.5cm
it's tapered at the top just below the starter housing down to around 10.7cm

Good luck

A new battery really doesn't cost very much![sm=idea.gif]

There are even less expensive choices as well.

That battery doesn't last too long at all. A few months and mine was shot and it looses its umph really quick. 3 Or 4 good blasts with the starter and its gone

I don't know what you are doing with yours but I have that battery and recharge it about twice per season. Once at start and once mid season and have never had a problem. My engines run up to .60 size and I fly at least 2 days every week and often more. I don't use it for the glow plug. I have a RCATS lithium for that. It gets charged once a season. Others at my field also use my stuff to start their planes too.

Thats funny, maybe the cold temps up here had somthing to do with it. I had to charge mine all the time cause I flew everyday, all day long, for a few weeks and I fly up to 1.50 size.

I still haven't charged mine yet Still going strong too. If you have a Walmart up there you might try a different motorcycle battery, they have some smaller ones that I think will fit. ( I have the Master-caddy too) I've seen some M/C batteries at Walmart that are pretty inexpensive, don't know if they're any good or not. Good Luck.

Same here. I have had mine 2 years and I only charge it 3 times a season. But, my biggest engine is a .91fx.
