Default New plane hauler

I starded flying last year. I can't get a enough of it. I went and bought me a plane hauler for this year. It's only a 5x8 but it's better than my pickup truck. I plan on building a storage center with a power supply. I will house my Long-Ez, My 27% Cap gasser, and my 60 P51. It will be a tight fit. I just hope I have time to finish it all so I can go fly.

Ken

I found this one. Not a bad price at all

Too bad I cannot get one in 1/4th scale but I always did like the Ez planes. I got to fly in one and take the controls a long time ago at Oshkosh. Cool little plane

Talk about go big or go home Right on dude. A pretty impresive fleet of planes for a first year modeler. A freind of mine has one of those trailers. We made a beer trailer out of it

Bill,
I've been eyeing a Long Ez for quite awhile. I've always thought they are really cool looking planes. I may just have to put one in the air before too long!!

By the way will you bring your trailer to my field some weekend. I had a great bunch of guys help me learn to fly last year. I learned on a H9 ultra stick with an OS 46fx and a tuned pipe. I have sinced owned and flew:

Funtana 40 = engine failure 30 feet after take off GONE!

Tiger 2 46 = I got real brave GONE!

Cub 82" saito 65 = Flew and sold never crashed (miss it)

Ultra stick 46FX = Flew and sold never crashed (really miss it)

P51 SPAD 46 = Flew and sold never crashed ( don't miss it)

Sig something extra = Flew and sold never crashed ( miss it )

Gobee stinger 50 Heli = Flew and sold never crashed ( not good enough for a heli )

I hope my new gas CAP232 does not crash or I hope I don't crash it I WILL CRY!!!!!!!

A friend of mine has a Trailer about that size, & you would not believe how many planes he drags around with him in it using these cargo bars rapped in foam. So that he can stack planes 3 rows high in the Trailer. Today he had a 27% Patty Wagstaff, 2 .60 size warbirds, a Kaos, a Stick a bunch of small electrics & 2 Gypies along with all his field & suppoert equipment. Set it up right & you'll be able to get a lot of planes in there. Nice Trailer!

I did some digging around. It looks like the ARf version is only made by Rich models and the one I linked to at Raidentech is the same one. Now if I can only find someone on the east coast that has one. There are kits and plans that I also found and it looks like there is a thread on RCU covering both the scratch built and kit planes, at least according to google

Losing an engine on a Funtana, either size, will tend to destroy them pretty quick. They are not built to take any kind of a hit but are a blast. I had the 90 size using a YS110. I do have a video of me abusing it, but nothing fancy

Any Ultra stik once sold is easy to miss. Same with the Something Extra. Both are loads of fun, especially a stik that has flaps and you setup crow and do a power dive, cut throttle, open corw and all but stop, then level out and land. Coolest thing I ever saw

Which Cap. I have the GP version on gas, had the Matt Chapman (sold) the Kangke 120 on gas, planted it a too low tumble. The Gp is a gorgeous plane but I have yet to fly it

All the rest in your list I have never flown.

I'm getting to the point I also need a trailer, like my waistline, my planes are also getting larger

Excuse me for interrupting this thread, but I see you also reside in Logansport. If you don't mind my asking where do you fly? I haven't run across many who fly around here. You'll love the trailer, I've had my 6x10 since Oct.05 they are the cats meow!. Plane looks cool too!
Thanks Kev.
