Have a kangke trainer in need of an engine. I was thinking about a saito 82. It balances the plane out without any weight. Any reason i should not use this large of a motor? Would like to buy it and use it later on another plane.

xstew, I ran an O.S. 70 Surpass in a trainer. It worked great and sounded good. The tank I had in the trainer for a .46 two stroke was plenty big enough for the .70 four stroke.

Yeah but you should see what a saito 82 likes to drink. A 10 ounce tank should gove you roughly 8 minutes flight on a trainer. I say this because you will only need around 1/2 throttle. I know on my cap580 with the .82 and 10 oz tank got me around 5 minutes with a little reserve. But my 580 is aerobatic and I love vert, so I had a lot higher consumption rate.
