I just purchased , at an auction, 7 rolls of solartex supershrink fabric covering, and I thought that it was normal monocoat type stuff, it didn't cost me much, 12.50 for all, but I have never used this, Does it react similar to monocoat? one other drawback is it is all yellow, but the price was rith if it works, any advice?

Solartex is great stuff. If you've used Ultacote or similar you will love the way Solartex goes on. Much nicer and yellow is a great colour for planes. Also you can easily paint over Solartex just using Tremclad.

It lovely stuff to work with. The disadvantage is that, because it's a fabric, you really do need to lacquer/fuel proof it or it gets filthy. All the oil and rubbish gets in the weave.
