Will these parts work for making Cessna 182 Flaps?

I've posted this in a few places without any responses so I am trying here.
I would like to add flaps to my GP Cessna 182 (.40) and would like some comments on the following:
Will these servos work ($9.99 ea)?

and will these Y-Harnesses work ($9.99 ea)?

Thanks.

Noone has responded cuz there's really no way to answer. We don't know if those servos work without testing them. Just make sure and get new servos and they should work.
Other than that, your theory is sound.
I have flaperons and I found the use of flaps completely unnecessary and can lead to problems.
Remember: Flaps down, 3 clicks of up throttle.

I don't see how you would have any problems using a 42oz servo for flaps on a .40 sized model. That rating seems pretty close to that of a standard Futaba 3003.

I used Futaba 3004's when I did my flaps mod on the same model. Standard Y-harness to the 6th channel. It's a relatively easy mod if you dont mind cutting wood on such a good looking ARF.

Thanks all - I just wanted to make sure.
I don't have a problem cutting the wing to get the flaps - I like doing that anyway. I've certainly had enough practice! haahah
