Just a quick tip.
TOWER has Hobbico's Digital Multimeter on sale till the end of the month for a measley 14.99. I paid over 30 for mine a year ago and still think its worth that. Does it all from simulated loads to testing continuity. I put this thread in the battery and Chargers section also but thought about it a felt is one of the most important things a beginner should get into the habit of checking. YOU need this stock number for this price.

I went looking for a multimeter for my needs and could not find one. I know what my volt meter tells me but I want to be able to find out if my battery has a full amp charged. Does this read 600/1000/1800amps or whatever? Thanks

The only way I know to tell if your battery has a full charge meaning the Mhh output as far as I know is to cycle it. I am sure there are far more knowledegable electronic people that will correct me if there is a meter for this. The meter I'm speaking of tells you weather its safe to fly as far as what power your battery has left in it. Maybe someone else can explain it a heck of a lot better than I can.

I bought one of these a few months back. I bought it brand new off a guy on ebay for $15. Now Tower is selling them for $39.99!

I've been playing with mine and it seems to work well. Has a lot of features for the money. I compared the readings I got with a digital multimeter my buddy bought from sears and they were really close. The difference was neglegible.
