Default My 1st trainer

Aloha everyone!

I'm finishing my 1st trainer. Just wanted to make sure I'm able to use any open channel not being used on my receiver for my switch? I have a Futaba 7cap tx. Can anyone help?

I want to fly my plane on Sunday (Father's Day) to surprise my husband, I actually put together my own plane to fly.... Wish me luck....

Any help or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated!!!

G'day Mate,
There should be a slot marked "Batt" or battery, on the receiver, this is where you plug in the switch, which is connected to the battery, I REALLY hope you intend to get help from an instructor or at least an experienced pilot before you attempt to fly this trainer. or you will need more than luck, sorry.

Yes, you can use, any open slot,or use a "Y" harness ,on a used/plugged in channel. If you have a slot marked as "BATT", the switch ,should be installed, in-line with the battery, to that slot. You can`t really "Goof up"...Hope things go well for you....

Congrats on building your own Trainer. That is an accomplishment indeed. Best of luck on your maiden flight.[sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]
