Default help with elevons

hi, i have just bought a flying wing to get me into electrics and i am having trouble setting up the eleveon. I have a futaba 6exa, and have switched the w.mix to el like it says in the manual, and have pluged the left elevon in to channel 1 and right into channel 2, my problem is when i press across on the right hand stick (which is normally alerons) both of the servos move in the same direction, like a rudder, i have tried changing the channels on each wing but the servos just go in opposite direction, can someone help me please?

you need to reverse one of the channels. then when the right stick is moved left/right, the surfaces move in opposite direction. when you move the right stick forward/backward, they move in the same direction. there are 4 combinations of reversing and two combinations of plugging-in. two of these 8 combinations will be right, I think.

Have you tried reversing one of the channels?

So now swap the two servos wires (ch 1 and ch 2). as I said earlier, there are many combinations. There will be one (or two) combinations that will be right.
