Default Dual aileron servos moving same direction?

I have a dual aileron servo setup on my new foamie. I'm using different brand servos because performance isn't an issue at this point though I know they move at a little different speed. I have them connected via a y cable to a 4 channel gws receiver controlled by a Futaba 6EXAP. The thing is though, they move in the same direction like elevons. Any idea why this would be?

Dual aileron servos are supposed to move in the same direction. If you mount one pushrod on the wingtip side of the servo then you mount it the same on the other side. That way when the servos move (in the same direction) one aileron move up and the other aileron moves down.

Hope this helps

let me guess. hitec and a futaba servos right? they move opposite each other. It would be great if they move equally because one could use them for duel elevators. for what your doing you going to have to get either the same servos or move one of the servo horns to the other side and set it it up like unmixed flaps so in this case they will move opposite each other for ailerons
