Default Hitek HFD-08RD receiver question

I was wiring in the servos and batteryto the rx, but the connectors can go in both ways. So does the signal wire go the out side or inside of the receiver???? This is my first hitek flight pack, my other plane has futuba and they only go in one way.

any help appreciated.

Look at the battery input slot. There apears to only be two prongs. So plug that in to have bothe wires contact then match up the servo wires so there power +/- leads match the battery. In the picture it looks like the signal lead will be to the outside.

unfortuantly the battery slot is also ch8 so there is 3 connectors in there. Went to hitek site and they show nothing either.
I have another futuba flight pack so I guess I'll strip all the hitek out, and send it back, and go stick with futuba.

thanks

Okay you can also try setting it up just like your Futaba. make them all match and if it does not work reverse them. I have installed them backwards on my hitech micro receiver and had to reverse them with no damage due to the positive lead being in the middle the ground and signal are the only thing to get reversed.

Install the DARK wire (typically black or brown ) to the OUTSIDE edge of the case (just like in a Futaba - dark wire to the outside of the case )

Here is a wiring diagram that will show you the proper wiring for all the major brands. This shows the servos, but you can translate that to your receiver.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies, yes the signal wire does go to the inside.
