So my family pulled togther and got this airplane for my birthday and I thought it would make a pretty good 3rd airplane. What are your thoughts on this plane? As of today I have close to 100 flights and and about 15 -20 flights on my second glow plane, the Hangar 9 Super Stick 40. I'm looking at eventually getting into IMAC/3D flying or some other precision flying program.
Thanks,
Mark

Considering the time you have on your first two plane you should do fine with this one. Just remember, you can set the throws at a lower setting until you get used to the plane, then increase your throws as your skills improve.
One word of warning, these planes are famous for having tender landing gear. Keep your landing gentle or the landing gear will rip out.
Enjoy, they are a great flying plane.
Hope this helps

These planes are VERY sensitive to hangar rash, rough-handling and transport. The TD is only made of light balsa stringers and monokote.
You will have no trouble with this plane, it floats in and lands itself, the rest is up to you.

You'll love it! I flew one for about a year before I had a thumb glitch and killed it. I'm thinking about getting another one. Everything they said about the landing gear is true but you won't have any trouble at all. Go with low rates until you get used to it. It is one of the most fun planes I've flown.
