Hi,
I think I have a issue with the Ailerons.
I have the Ailerons centered to the wing according to the manual but there is a big difference between left & right aileron regarding the neutral point. The difference is about 3/4 of a inch.
Should I fly something like this? Is it possible the wing is deformed??
I have built a couple ARF's already and have not seen this before so I need some help.
Should I call Tower Hobbies and explain my issue?
Thank you
Mark

Ok....When stick is neutral and according to the instructions the Aileron should be centerlined with the wing on both sides. Now after doing that where the Ailerons are centerlined with the wing tips on both sides there is a 3/4 of inch differnce between both sides when the stick is neutral and the ailerons are centered to each wing tips.
I hope this is clearer....if not LMK I will post pics or I will pay for a phone call to you guys

I attached a copy of the manual for the other folks.
If I understand you correctly when you have the TX ail stick centered and the ail trim centered one of the aierons is properly at the neutral position and the other is 3/4 off neutral. Or are both of them not neutral?

Yes and no. There is a 3/4 inch differnce between the Left Ail and Right Ail when centered and trim set to 0 & here's the kicker when both Ailerons are inline with the wing tips. So anotherwards everything set to zero and ailerons aligned with the wing tips when you stand back from the wing you will see at-least a 3/4 difference between right & left ailerons.

mcoccia... My ail were "slightly" warp... But they were not on the wing, so I just used
a flat surface and heated the ail. while holding the ails flat and keep holding until it
cools and no problem since... I also did it the same way on my first "Do" with it on the
wings.... But it may be best to get a replacement or info from Tower...

Thanks to everyone for thier support on this. I am going to contact GP and get a replacement hopefully without any troubles. It does look as the ailerons are warped the more I look at them.
I will let you guys know how I make out.
Thanks again

This thread is demonstrates what is great about RC Universe. Great job! Bruce88123 going as far as to make a phone call to help Mark solve his problem is typical of what occurs on this website. Kudos, Bruce.
