I am getting a Tower Hobbies Kaos ARF for a project as I want to learn a little about putting an ARF together before I tackle a kit.
This ARF has cheap, flimsy covering. I wanted to know how hard it would be to take it off and put some monokote on it to customize it.
If it's doable, what's the best way to get cheap stuff off.

heat guns wrok well.
heat the entire surface you want to remove and start at a seam, slowly pull the covering off and reheat areas as needed. any remnants of the old covering can be removed by lightly sanding with a fine sandpaper.
