Dave,
Tell us the story of the ill fated 190 flight. This will better help to understand your difficulty. Are you all ready qualified as an R/C pilot, or was the 190 your first plane. This will make a BIG difference.

The Super Chipmunk might give you 35 seconds. If the 190 was tail heavy and stalled, the Chipmunk will act the same, if not worse. As Flak asked, what is your skill level and planes flown successfully ?

I don't think he is experienced enough for an aerobatic plane yet. If he is he should go on a buddy box with the plane and learn to fly it and get used to it's characteristics. I have a CG Super Chipmunk 60 size and I will have my instructor who taught me to fly teach me on it. Mine is a kit and there is no way I'm going to crash it by being crazy and trying it on my own. Plus all planes usually need some trimming and if you don't have the experience your headed for sure disaster.

Good Luck,

Gibbs

1st i do have my wings and can fly spads. when after i took my 190 and playing with my sim. i realized that it didn't have enough power and do to the slight cold and nerves in my hand while kicking in rudder and elevator to turn i pulled back on it a little to hard ergo, stall. when i realized how to pull out it was a 2 second too late. i have hours on the sim just to warbirds.

The simulator comes close, but not the same as real world.
I've always liked the Chipmunk and now fly a 63" span Kondor KMP version. I might suggest that you raise both ailerons up 3/16" as in washout to slow tip stall. You might make out ok. Can't tell unless you try.
