Yay!
ive finally found a club in my area and after a brief talk on the phone to the Administrator of the Club ive been told that i can come down some time in March/April time, get some advice and have a go at flying on a buddy box!
its only a matter of time until i'll be flying my very own plane! X-D just the thought of it makes me smile
P.S. ive been having bad dreams lately, like bad things happening to my Tmaxx or someone stealing a Really nice plane of mine (which is odd seeing as i dont have any planes yet...)

Ahhh, yes the glorious weather of England.
Then it is time to get a flight simulator and get in some quality time.
Ask you club advisor if they teach/fly in Mode 1 or Mode 2. This relates to how the functions are organized on the sticks. Then pick up a Flight simulator - Best investment you can make at this point, but you need to be sure that you can set up for proper mode.
Here are some options - you will need to find UK sources, of course. All of these come with a controller that looks and feels like an RC transmitter so you will get the proper feel and develop the proper hand/eye coordination. When you get your own transmitter you will probably be able to get a cable that will allow you to use it with these simulators, but the boxes with these will do quite nicely for now.
Low cost - Based on the FMS Freeware flight simulator
Not fancy but it will help you prepare.
ESky USB Package - $35
