Default Beginners Aerobatics

I have recently gone solo (through a club with a bunch of wonderful instructors) and was just wandering if there were any forums etc on step by step instructions on how to do basic aerobatics. I'm still using my trainer (Seagull Boomerang) and want to master the basics before moving on to my next plane. The guys at the club are willing to help with the aerobatics but I like to have some basic knowledge before I start so that I'm not wasting their time.

thanks

Shane

RCU Moderator Geistware has a pretty good group of aerobatics on his site. Take a look at it and see if it's what you're looking for.

As an instructor or friend, I've NEVER felt it was a waste of time to help ANYONE learn new skills. It also helps me brush up on mine.

This is ONE of the reasons I participate so much here in this forum. I also learn a lot here.

I would recommend that you start with loops, rolls and inverted flight.
Inverted flight is easy even with a trainer. Loops can be done if you go at a 45 degree dive to build up speed and pull through the loop. Rolls are probably the most difficult with a trainer especially if you have low throws on your ailerons. You can use a lot of altitude with an aileron roll on a trainer.
