Default Futaba to JR Trainer cord

I have a Futaba 7C and am joining the AMA and am getting the JR buddy box. I have Real Flight 3.5 that comes with a Micro (Futaba) to JR Cord. Will this work for joining my new 7C with the new JR buddy box? Thanks!

I joined the AMA 2 months ago and still I am waiting on the buddy box. so if your wanting to get started , you may have to buy another radio like I did.
I also have the G3.5, but I`m not sure if it will work or not. I bought this TrainerLink Futaba to JR from Hanger 9. [link]http://www.hangar-9.com/Search/Default.aspx?SearchTerm=han173[/link] Hope this helps.

That cord will not work because I need a Micro Futaba hookup to JR. That's the older Round style you showed

JR buddy boxes also need their own battery pack unlike the other brands. Thats why I don't suggest JR for a first radio while training.[8D]

also if you leave the cord plugged in to the JR box the box is powered. If you forget to unplug you run down the battery. bad planning on their part

The Buddy box isn't my issue. I've got a buddy's old JR radio that he's letting me borrow until my AMA JR box gets here so that's not an issue. Anybody know about the cord?
