With 4 hobby shops on speed dial, more r/c web links than 2gig of memory can handle, and 3 weather stations on "favorites" on the t.v. remote I can say I am not addicted.

My three biggest fears, wrt R/C:
1) My wife will see how much I've spent in the last few years.
2) My wife will get hold of my plane or boat spreadsheets.
3) My wife will be brave enough to look past the things I've conveniently stacked in the garage to make my total collection a bit less obvious.

Canaan, NH? Now there's a place you don't see every day. [X(] Spent all my summers in Center Harbor from the time I was about 6 until part way through college. My first R/C experience was running a boat on Lake Winnipesaukee. I remember working lots of hours to save enough for a 4 channel MRC radio. I used it in a few boats, a car, and then in my first plane.

Hi, my name is Andy, and I own 16 airplanes and spend more on this hobby in a year than I make in car payments. I have a problem, but I don't see a reason to do anything about it. The thing I'm most ashamed of is that my 7 year old daughter said that she wants to try and fly too, and I got so excited I forgot to breathe for a couple of minutes and blacked out. It's not the first time I've balcked out, either, it always seems to happen right when I walk into the hobby shop, and I come to when the door shuts behind me. I'm usually carrying something, but have no recollection of how or when it got into my hands. I think about the next airplane I'm getting all the time, and have been known to sell airplanes that I put hours of time, effort and thought into for next to nothing, just to get others hooked like I am. My name is Andy and I am a plane-a-holic.

We almost took a road trip up there last Sept, but my wife was pregnant and morning sickness caused us to stay home. [
] We might make one this summer, but it depends on a bunch of factors, such as how well the baby travels. I've been in NC since 1982, and love it. Flying season is WAY longer than it would be in NH.
