Default Spinner Size?

I'm purchasing an O.S. .61 FX and was wondering what size aluminum spinner to put on it. Is it all just looks? I know some spinners require an adapter kit but would I be Ok with anything from a 2.25" to 2.75" or more?

Thanks for the help!

capt17,
Usually the size of a spinner is dictated by the airplane it's on, and not the engine. Normally the spinners will be sized to match the lines of the airplane. The engine doesn't care what size spinner it has on it as they produce almost no load to the engine. Check the manual for the plane you are installing on and it should let you know what size spinner to use.

Hope this helps

Ken

RC Ken, I have looked in the manual and it doens't say any particular size. I am building the Venture 60 which is similar to the Sig 4*. Any thoughts?

Not at all. It's human nature. After you look at the instructions for awhile your eyes/brain start tuning things out and you don't see them anymore. Somebody else can come in fresh and find it right away.
