Default Dumb thumbs = splat.

Firstly, just to let you all know,I've had a great weekend and over the last couple of days I've put In over fourteen flights with the kyoshee spree sports low winger.

Then on my last flight just as dusk was setting In I had the crash,[&o]
comming In very slowly with a crosswind trying to stay level I over corrected and touched a wingtip on the ground,
due to the slowness of my landing and through sheer luck I came away with only minimal damage.
One bent prop shaft, a smashed motor mount and no air frame damage.

As you can see by the pic's me and my bro had a few beers later on and a good laugh,
why do crashes always happen when you do just one more flight.

That is definitely one of Murphy's laws of RC. Never EVER say "one more flight", or "one last flight". [:@] These statements get Muphy's attention and he comes and smacks your plane down. If you ever catch yourself saying these just pack everything up and go home, do not fly!!!! I always say "I'll have another flight", and then quit after the flight!!!

Yup, just say, "I'm going up again"

British translation, "I'll have another go"

But NEVER, "Just one more flight"

Bummer on the "last" flight.

If you meant Kyosho, good luck finding parts...it's a shame kyosho is so stubborn and won't let anyone sell there parts except like 2 suppliers.

That's always been one of my standing "jokes"!!! Someone says "I crashed on my last flight of the day." To which I answer "of course it was the last flight of the day, you couldn't keep flying it after you destroyed it could you??"

Yes, I know I'm a smart allec!!!!! That comes from an old George Carlin routine. From his stupid sayings routine..... "I found it in the last place I looked".... "Of course it was in the last place you looked, you didn't keep looking for it after you found it did you???"

"kyosho", yeah that's what I meant.(oops)
As a toolmaker I think I'm more than qualified to manufacture a new prop shaft.

Never EVER say "one more flight", or "one last flight".
I learned this lesson Thursday evening. Another pilot and I are on the same frequency (40). He asked if he could squeeze in one last flight before I went up again with his Big Stick and brand new Evolution engine. "Sure", I said. A couple of minutes later, he said he heard flutter while heading straight down at full throttle, then quickly throttled to idle, lost control of his elevator went straight into a lake. A truely spectacular crash. After he swam back to shore, he informed me of that law: Never say one last flight.

So I told him I'll have another flight since frequency 40 is free and landed safetly.
